The best German Volleyball Clubs are part of the so called Bundesliga.

There is the showpiece 1st Bundesliga as well as the 2nd Bundesliga. The 2nd League is divided into Southern and Northern. The Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) presents the biggest German league association with over 70 participating clubs.

Beside the regular German Championship season (league system + playoffs), the German Cup (DVV-Pokal) has become a major event as well.

The German Cup’s highlight ist the final, which is hosted at the SAP Arena in Mannheim (since 2016). Women’s and Men’s Finals are taking place on the same day in front of over 10,000 spectators.
